The Avenues Vet Centre is an independent vet practice in Glasgow, and we’re extremely proud of it. With locations in Rutherglen and Mount Florida, we're ideally location to care for pets and their owners in Cambuslang, Laurieston, Giffnock and the surrounding areas.
You and your family will feel right at ease with our approachable and friendly team, who have decades of experience treating sick and injured pets, as well as providing preventative healthcare and nutritional advice.

Our story so far...
Rutherglen: serving the community since 1985
Established in 1985, our Rutherglen practice is where Ronan and Nicola first took over in December 1998. Since then, they've built a dedicated team they're incredibly proud of – our staff are our greatest asset. This branch offers full surgical, imaging, and laboratory services for our patients.
Mount Florida: 4th generation vets
In 2010, we acquired the practice at 1066 Cathcart Road, Mount Florida, becoming the fourth generation of veterinary surgeons to work from these historic premises. In February 2025, we extended the practice to include 1064 Cathcart Road, adding full surgical, imaging, laboratory, and dental facilities to match our Rutherglen branch. Mount Florida now offers comprehensive veterinary services alongside consultations and minor procedures.
